The Rhaetian Penarth, Westbury Beds at Blue Anchor are rich in Bone, Fish, Teeth and Coprolites. The rock is extremely hard and found only in fallen blocks on the foreshore. This has been polished on one side. This block has been prepared using acid to expose the bone and teeth.
