Hematoid Quartz is the name given to Quartz crystals included with Hematite. Often the inclusions appear as tiny reddish-brown or black ‘stars’ or clouds within the termination end of a Quartz point. Hematoid Quartz is also known as Specularite Quartz. This crystal is also also known as Fire Quartz. Both are very popular healing stones.
