Description
This scribe contain a magnet in the top used as a pivot swing magnet for testing the magnetic properties of minerals. They are made from hardened steel with a pocket clip and a reversible safety top (ideal for carrying in your pocket). They are also used as a hand etcher for removing matrix from rocks, both to prepare fossils but also, to remove small samples of mineral or rock matrix for testing. Used as a Geological Tool, but also they have plenty of other uses.
