Hematite is the mineral form of iron oxide, one of several iron oxides. It is the oldest known iron oxide mineral that has ever formed on Earth. Hematite crystallizes in the rhombohedral lattice system, and it has the same crystal structure as ilmenite and corundum. It is mined as the main ore of iron.
Specularite is a variety of Hematite characterized by aggregates of silvery, metallic, specular (‘mirror-like’) hematite flakes or tabular, anhedral crystals.
Crystal wands are carved from natural gemstones to form a stunning wand shape. Wands are good to hold when you need focus or clarity. Wands are also used in crystal healing to direct healing energy. Wands can be used as massage wands, which are polished or laser wands.
